Here are some more scrap blocks I have been working on. I seem to be wanting to use up scraps lately. The chicken and dog are embroideries. Each block is about 14 inches because that is the size of my biggest square ruler.
This is so nice for a winter project. I am in the mood to piece for a while again too and using some bright colors to perk up the winter blahs. At least we have not been quite as cold as you!
Great scrap blocks Joyce! In cleaning up my sewing room, I've combined all my scrap shoe boxes to one big laundry basket... Wow! Next stage is to separate into colors... I think, and then strips... I think? lol! Soon it will be time to do some scarp quilts too! Enjoy the snow!

I too have a yen to do a scrappy quilt. Your blocks have wildness but a planned-ness too. This will be an interesting quilt for sure. Can't wait.
These look like fun. Using up scraps and having fun - that's what I call productive activity.
