Croquinole

We found this game for only $18 at the thrift shop today. It's very popular around here but a lot of people have never heard of it. You try to get the buttons in the hole, and to shoot off any buttons of the other color. In the end, outside ring gives you 5 points, second 10, middle 15 and in the hole 20. It's a game for two or four people.
If you want to know more about the game check out the entry in Wikipedia.

I learned to play this when I was little. My grandpa was an addict to the game so whenever I was there he had to have a game (or three).

That looks like fun! Kind of like lawn bowls, only not :)

Hope you had a good Christmas and New Year, Joyce!

Joyce,
I am pretty sure we have a crockinole board around our house- Bruce and his father were avid players and they spent many family hours playing the game. I am sure you and your family will have the same experience.
It sounds like you are going to have a wonderful early spring holiday to Australia. It is a place that I would love to visit
Happy New Year to you and yours.
Regards,
Anna
