I picked this roll of Warm and Natural batting today. I ordered it from JoAnn Fabrics when they had it on sale so I got a great deal. Now I'll have batting when I need it.
I started quilting the hand dyed quilt. I'm using silver thread which is breaking quite regularly but I like the look of it so I'll keep re-threading the needle.

What needle are you using with the metallic? I don't have any problems with it if I use a large needle like a 14 topstitch. The thread breaks like crazy if I use a 12 needle. I really like how the silver metallic looks.
wow, that's lots of batting. happy quilting!
What pretty work you have going here! I love it. Sorry about the thread breakage but hopefully you'll get that worked out.
That is some bolt of batting- It will take you awhile to go through it.It is nice when you get a good deal on batting- it is hard to find it for a good price here in Canada. I have sometimes bought it by the individual rolls from Connecting Threads. The price has been less expensive than buying it here. The price of batting has certainly gone up.
I hope that you were able to solve the thread breakage problem. Sometimes using a quilting needle or a larger size needle will help. Sometimes my machine does not like it when I try to use different kinds of thread on the bottom and the top.
I snagged a roll of batting when it went on sale too. Now to have a bit warmer weather so I can use it (in the garage). It will quilt up fast when I get started.
Good for you with the batting there Joyce!!
Too bad your thread keeps breaking.. that be very frustrating! Looks great though! 8-)
Definitely the needle! I love your snow dyed fabric! Haven't tried that yet, but several in my area have. Great to visit on the Net with other gals who have the same interests, I used to think we were a dying breed. I am also a Canadian (Saskatchewan), who lives in an area with no fabric stores, but love ordering online. I find the price is right. C
