Now I have the criss cross row on and I am wondering what to add next. I am getting tired of doing tiny piecing soI found some fabric that is nice and fungly which might work instead. Then the piano keys but then should it end with the dot fabric, the fungly cow fabric or something else altogether. Or will there be another round?
I'll let it simmer for awhile before I make my decision.

what about the dot fabric on a couple of adjacent sides and the fungly cow on the other two?
Very fun! I think the fungly cow fabric sets it all off nicely.
I think the floral fabric is way too soft looking for the graphic quality of the rest of it. A smaller print or tone on tone would probably follow the character of the center better. You could piece all of your ugly florals etc. for the back.
Yours is certainly more exciting than mine. I like what you are up to. I agree with exuberant color and the floral is a bit to mild.
Yup! Didn't want to be the first to say, but that floral just isn't doing it for me...
Perhaps the cow print in place of the floral, the piano keys, and then the black dot fabric?
Just my thoughts Joyce...sorry.
Joyce I think you should use that floral fabric for the backing or for another fungly quilt top. Definitely use the cow print in there, please! cheers, QGB
I loved the last photo - and all the colors "work" together. I think the larger pieces detract from all your wonderful piecing... I often get tired of piecing small blocks too but find that by pushing myself to keep going I am usually very happy with the end results. You have a great top going here - maybe you might want to consider just making it smaller so you can keep all that great detail? In anycase, I am looking forward to seeing what YOU decide to do!
Cheers!
