Walk in the Snow

I don't usually post twice in a day but the walk in the snow was too nice to wait until tomorrow.
Here is the car, stuck at the end of the lane. We decided to just leave it there until this storm is over. We are hoping that Mr. Sun will help us out eventually.

Relaxing after struggling up the hill in more than knee-deep snow.

The snow is very deep. It must be at least two feet (about 60 cm) and soft and fluffy.

Holy smokes - what a lot of snow! Well, I guess winter is still happening there, hopefully this is the last of it.

Love the chickens!

I love those pics in the snow! It looks like fun, but I am sure it is not when you are living with it.

Simba is one gorgeous dog!

Wow - that looks cold! While it is still cool here (for us) I still managed to get down by the beach today. Quite a contrast from what I see at your place.

Your weather report is FAR better than the weather.com! I knew I'd get better 'coverage' if I checked with bloggers, rather than the weather folks! How lovely it is -- and yes, and inconvenience. Here in Western Nebraska we didn't receive anything! Lucky I suppose, but WE want the moisture.

Great weather for quilting, right?

Wow! What a bunch of snow!-- We just got a dusting... I found your site via SewMamaSew and just love all of your creations. You are SO talented! I looked for the wonky letters and houses and then went back to post the link. Then I reread what you'd written and I wanted to apologize... I didn't mean to divert anyone from looking at your incredible site (I was just trying to save them the time of searching in Google to find the actual tutorial). So, anyway-- I'm sorry if I goofed and inadvertently stepped on your toes. I love the tutorial and hope you get the fabric!!

What great pics, Joyce! Love the one of you collapsed by the car! Boy, do I know the feeling....

I've been listening to the area reports...to see what my northern neighbors are receiving. Isn't it gorgeous stuff! Stay safe...and creative!

Love love love the fur-trimmed coat! Looks very snuggly and warm. We would love that kind of snow here. Global warming is doing us out of winter snowfields. Looks beautiful and wintery.
