Binding

Here is a close up of the binding cut on the bias. I really like the effect of the stripes on an angle. The designer of this quilt thought of everything.

I have several different striped fabrics where the stripes are printed on the bias. If you cut on the bias, the stripes are straight. I love the look of the binding you show.

I love the look of stripped (or plaid) bias bindings, but usually I'm too lazy to cut them *s*

Very nice! I like stripes in the binding too. Sometimes I put them on a 90° angle, which is interesting too. I've really enjoyed this quilt!

The diagonal stripe on the binding is just the right touch. I really like it. Good job Joyce.

mitred borders, mitered binding, bias binding... I don't know a whole lot of work -- now granted it is beautiful... :-)
