Ready to Quilt

Here is the quilt with the final border on, hanging over the frame so you can see how big it is. It is about 95 inches square. I have decided that I'll be able to hide the corner problem with brown quilting in that area. I love the outer border on this one.

And here is the pillow all finished. I think it will look very good on the bed with the quilt.

I did't realize the quilt was that big. It turned out great, and in record time.

You work fast! I think the border is wonderful -- I love the floral print in contrast to the straight lines in the quilt. This really looks good.

Uh oh...you're making this quilting thing look much too easy, Joyce! lol You're too speedy.

It is just lovely. Elegant...yet very usable and down-to-earth feeling. What a lucky couple to have a quilt so soon into the new year...thanks to their talented SIL!

The quilt top is wonderful Joyce! Nice job! I'm sure it will be a treasure to those who receive it from you... 8-)
A few comments on your last post gave some ideas that I had learned at MPQ a while back. Nellie's Needles, LC, and Quilt Pixie....
That hand-crank Singer is a find in deed! Good for you! 8-)
That Best Press that you posted about, where did you happen to find it? Never heard of it!
Happy stitchings!
