Snow

If you wonder why I get so much quilting done, here is one reason. The snow was deeper on the hill leading up to this spot. The temperature today is only -18 but it is snowing hard and then expected to get very cold again.
I can't get the "new" sewing machine to work. The needle doesn't pick up the bobbin thread. Also the little wire on the tension disk is broken. It may get fixed some day or may just end up being an ornament. It is unusual in that it can be put on a treadle cabinet or used with the crank. I guess you could call it a transformer.

you can keep all of the snow up there in Canada! Ours has all melted except along the north side of the house and the piles along the driveway.

You would really get your exercise in snow that deep.

Today, in Edmonton, we got up to -33 C. which is about as cold as I want it to get. Our kids are in Mexico. That is not fair. However, the snow is a good blanket. We have a wild bunny who snuggles into it at our front step. Too cold for snow angels though, or skiing. A good day to quilt... and I hope you can get that Singer working.

Love all your snow. We had a storm last night but don't have near as much as you do. The boys have enjoyed snowboarding and tubing. I just love winter!

Brrrr! When we have -18, it's windchill. Oops, just realized you are probably using degrees celsius. That's -4 fahrenheit -- still really cold!!

I really can't quite imagine weather that cold! You look so cute all rugged up in that jacket. An absolute necessity, I will bet!

A shame you can't get your Singer to work, but it does make a handsome ornament!

Gosh that's an awful lot of snow *s* As much as I long for some snow in my neck of the woods, it's pretty safe to say that I'd probably stay indoors sewing, too.

Good gosh I can't believe all that snow. It looks beautiful but I hate snow.I lived in Illinois when I was a kid and I hated then to. I'm Texan all the way I guess LOL.Son spent time in Alaska with a friend and he said his smile would freeze on his face. I love your coat.
